Be Prepared For "The Kaos" and Energy Emerging With A Relentless Force Off the Decks of So-Cal's Finest... DJ Kaos!!

He's known for bringing chaos to his decks and THAT IS EXACTLY his intention. Using this method of mixing on the decks to mold his "style", this artist has even adopted the name...DJ Kaos, as a means of preparing his audience for the joy ride he promises with every gig! On a mission to leave the club-goers minds fully "embedded" with the name KAOS, ANY and all genre of music is fair game to our next feature DJ.

Currently hailing from San Diego, DJ Kaos found his niche while attending school. In fact, he just wrapped up a photo shoot and had this to say about how and where his DJ career all got started for him: "...I just went back all the way to my hometown...did a shoot there...did some at my Alma Mater...That's where it all started to come together for me...love that town..That's where the name for my production/mobile DJ company came from...Esco Zoo Entertainment.....Esco Zoo (nickname)=Escondido,CZ ..... It was real nice to go back... "(DJ Kaos, Sept 22/08) Kaos's musical roots run deep and have infused his veins for almost his whole life. He has been an avid independent student of music, absorbing Old Skool Hip Hop through classic artists such as: Jam Master Jay/Jazzy Jeff/& Grandmaster Flash Did. He is always immersing himself in what's cutting edge in the nightlife music vibe and now is in tight with the leaders and trend setters, paying close attention to major players such as: DJ Vice, DJ Rectangle, The Rock-It Scientists (Guzie & Solarz), DJ Scene, DJ AM ( and Travis Barker, who we are both praying for...),DJ Spyder, J. Espinosa and many others!!

Keeping on top of his game, has rewarded Kaos and as a result, he has caught the attention of sponsors such as clothing giants Karmaloop.com (www.karmaloop.com) and RVCA(http://www.rvca.com/ ). He also has been snatched up by the Internet Radio industry and he now has a daily mix show on Live365.com ( http://www.live365.com/index.live). Be sure to check that out!! DJ Kaos is truly committed to his artform heart and soul. His dedication is evident not only in his persistant effort that he has put into his professional development in the music industry over the past 11 years, but also in the attitude that he possesses regarding his career of choice. He says this about his work: "To me the biggest reward is the amazing feeling I get when I play the right song at the absolute right moment. The smiles on peoples faces and the sound of a crowd going crazy most definitely make all the hard work worthwhile!! I feel fortunate and GRATEFUL to be able to call this my job! It's truly a blessing! " (DJ Kaos, Buzz Survey)

This genuine passion towards his livelihood is what sets Kaos a part from others. He has an internal fire for what he does and it is this flame that enables him and others who possess it, to inspire their dance floors to remain engaged and ride the musical high all night long. Kaos is very in tune with the club patrons and makes it a point to keep a vibe going once he has a handle on it and doesn't let close-mindedness interfere with the creative process. On any given night, his set could include the likes of bad ass classics like Queen, The Cure, Michael Jackson, yet tempered and mixed with JUST the right amount of the here and now mainstream artists such as: Jay-Z, Kanye West, Estelle, Crookers, and Kaos also accesses many of the amazing remixes of other colleagues that he admires. He PLAYS IT ALL AND HARD. His style is reminiscent of DJ AM's on again, off again quick-hitter style....

DJ AM

He won't let you settle too much into a track before he is waltzing it on and off the decks. It can be a rather crazy assault on the senses and one that will leaving you tingling from head to toe. That is Kaos's trademark style. He aims his automatic, fully-loaded decks at the patrons and doesn't stop firing until there isn't a breath left in the House and the "musical tornado" has ceased. It's a thrill ride and you must experience DJ Kaos first hand in order to truly appreciate his unique approach to jackin' the vibes. We have posted his most recent mix on our player called "Don't Think Timbs Not".

It's a fantastic representation of Kaos' style...The BPM is elevated and this is what he had to say about his newest piece: "So, I couldn't sleep and I had this song stuck in my head. So, I went to work!!!! It should sound real nice in the clubs...Ladies will love this!!!Here's the new mix I put together!!! This is how it breaks down...Kandi - Don't Think I'm Not (Vocals)+Timbaland - Misscommunication (Beat)+Kid Cudi - Day N Nite (Drums) " Kaos has got music on his mind 24/7....again a sign of an artist deeply committed to his artform. LP was once told by an English Professor to always keep a journal by his bedside in case an idea came to him in the middle of the night for his poetry and this is EXACTLY the same situation with Kaos and many of the other artists that we have featured on The Buzz. The creative process is not something that is to be controlled or limited by time, location, public opinion, status, conformity.....when the bug bites and an artist is compelled to create, create they must. Even our dearly departed colleague and friend DJ NeVoc, composed 3 mix ideas that he texted to his peer DJ JD just hours prior to taking his life. The drive to create in an individual truly committed to their artform is overwhelming and DJ Kaos lives this practice every day. The realization that he could live the lifestyle of a DJ came to him in an interesting manner and not one that is unfamiliar to The Buzz. We have definitely reported this experience before, but with other artists.

It was a life-changing moment for DJ Kaos and here is what unfolded: " I was only 19 when I was asked to be an opening DJ for a local radio station's big New Years event. Due to a mix up I was left to play the entire night by myself. I DJ'ed for 6 hours straight, much to the delight of a massive crowd. Needless to say I killed it. That's the night I realized I could accomplish so much and make something of this life time passion, if I worked hard & relentlessly. "(DJ Kaos, Buzz DJ Survey) Kaos has done exactly that and it has been his relentless drive to self-promote that has kept him on top of his A-game and brought him the success that he has experienced thus far in his career. The "chaos" that he is creating on the decks is truly demanding attention and industry peeps are sitting up and taking note of his radical, energetic performances. DJ Kaos is now a major force in the San Diego nightlife scene and he is currently reaching beyond with his trademark sounds and style. He is also looking to add additional clubs to his residency list....Fetty Be says to snatch this artist up 'cuz he is a MAJOR CROWD PLEASER FOLKS and work the price of admission!!! Be sure to check out his MySpace page (www.myspace.com/da1djkaos) for booking details and if you are looking to create a party that will leave the patrons deliriously devastated by an uncharted musical sensory assault...this artist will not disappoint. As everyone picks up the pieces of their night in their minds, they WILL REMEMBER the name....KAOS!
