DVDJ G-Funk’s roots are in beautiful Guam, but he now calls Denver home and he has been rockin’ night club patrons in major American cities including hubs such as: Vegas, Miami, Hollywood, Chicago, Atlantic City, Detroit etc. just to name a few! 1. What inspired you to pick your DJ your name?
DVDJ because I deliver eye-candy as a Digital Video Disc Jockey. G-FUNK is from my roots as a hip-hop DJ in the 90s, the stage name just stuck, so I kept it.
2. What kind of music do you like to spin?
Dirty Electro tracks with a lot of energy and ridiculous builds.
3. What and who are some of your major influences (artists, djs, etc.)?
DJ Q-Bert for his scratching and DJ 2nd Nature for his audio and video production.
4. Biggest reward about being a DJ?
Being able to pull off technically difficult mixes and the crowd's reaction to my crazy antics on stage.
5. Biggest pet peeve about being a DJ?
Other Wanna-Be DJs who want to mix or scratch in the middle of my set.
6. What is the best party you have ever spun at?
The Cannabis Convention spinning in front of 30,000 people.
7. If you could mix at a club or party anywhere, where would it be and with whom?
